World Cruise - Day 1 - Singapore

we arrived in Singapore about 7:00am and took a taxi to the cruise terminal. Checked into our room. We were both pleasantly surprised with the room.

We checked out the boat and then took the train to Raffles Place and The Marina Bay Sands Hotel. To get there, we walked across the Really cool bridge in the picture.

walked into the mall in the hotel which is huge and amazing (it started pouring outside at this point)

had tea and scones, which were delicious,

and, finally, went up to the C’est La Vie bar that overlooks the famous negative edge pool.

We drank our Singapore Sling, which was fancy and delicious!

Then, it had stopped raining, and we took a taxi to China Town. Experimented with some food called Fried Carrot Cake (it had no carrots and wasn’t cake).

Took the train back to our ship, and are now unpacking. No internet in the ship in Singapore. Doing this blog may become difficult, so be patient if you haven’t heard from me for a few days.
