Langkowi was our replacement for Sri Lanka, and it is a beautiful group of islands in Malaysia. Today’s tour was an Overview of Langkowi that included a trip to the rice patties, cable car ride, and skybridge.
First stop was the Rice Paddy Museum. They showed us how they used to plow the fields and prepare the rice. Nowadays, it is all done by machinery. As you can see, Leslie got quite friendly with one of the workers!
The main attraction on this tour was the steepest cable car in the world, and a Sky Bridge on top of the mounting. Amazing scenery and views. At times we were in the clouds, which was super cool.
When we arrived at the top of the cable car, there was a long line to take the lift down to the bridge, so Leslie and I decided to walk to stairs down. I’m glad we did because we saw these guys on the trail.
What an amazing experience crossing the bridge.
We walked back up the steps so we could make it back to the bus on time. Needless to say, we were exactly on time, and there were only 3 people out of 35 ahead of us. We had to wait a full hour because all the people took the lift and had to wait in line.

We got back to the ship with plenty of time to take advantage of the free shuttle that the ship had arranged to go into town to the beach, so we headed out. If we would have had enough time, we would have done the Parasailing, but it just didn't work out this time.
Instead, we did some shopping (good shopping there), and had a fabulous lunch (chicken Sharwarma wraps), and fried ice cream for dessert.
Next up – 4 Sea Days in a row. I’ll probably combine all of these into my next blog entry. Hope everyone is doing well! That’s all for now.

It looks like you are having a great time. Pictures are great. Leo told me to tell you hi.
